Registration for DUI Victim Panel PresentationsOn Panel nights, volunteers may join other volunteers, staff, and victim speakers for dinner if you wish at the DUI Victim Center of Kansas offices, 355 N. Waco, Suite 220. Dinner is at 5:00 p.m. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. You will check in the attendees according to the list provided, request they sign on the "Sign Sheet" for that night, collect the $50 fee, provide a receipt to the attendee, and complete a money bag receipt for accounting balances. All presentations are scheduled on a Tuesday evening in Wichita. Arriving for dinner at 5:00 is an option. Volunteers must arrive in time to be in place for the 5:30 registration. The total time commitment is usually about 1 hour - if coming for dinner. Registration is from 5:30-6:00 p.m. Volunteers are welcome to stay for the presentation that concludes at approximately 7:30 p.m. A cool down follows with staff and allows speakers the opportunity to talk about any feelings/occurrences of the evening. If a person comes only to volunteer at the registration, the time required would be a little over 30 minutes. |
